The 399A / 394A(395LA) Timken TSL tapered roller bearing features a single-row tapered roller bearing design with a DUO-FACE PLUS seal pressed onto the large rib of the inner ring. The dual-lip sealing system provides effective protection against lubricant leakage and external contamination, with one seal lip operating against the housing bore and the other sealing against the hardened and ground surface of the outer-ring front face. This integrated sealing design simplifies installation and provides reliable performance for grease-lubricated applications operating at moderate speeds.
